Comments In Great Uses for Coffee Filters They are also the best paper to start with for making snowflakes. Fold in half, then in thirds. Make your cuts and open. The paper is the right weight and texture to make great snowflakes, and it's so much easier than starting with a sheet of square paper.
In Tips for packing a diaper bag Great suggestion! As a daycare provider, I find the bags brought for the children are hard for me to use because they are full of so much stuff I can never find what I need quickly... and quickly is important when I'm taking care of five or six children of differing ages.
In Healthy & Cheap Microwave Popcorn Sounds good, but we were told by a microwave repairman that this is the surest way to ruin your microwave. We had a major problem with ours and the first thing he asked is if we had been popping corn. We hadn't, but he said most repairs he had to do were because people put corn in a brown paper bag to pop. He said the commercial stuff is OK, but not to do homemade. It's just so easy to put corn in a little oil in a pan on the stove over medium heat that I'd avoid taking any chances with this.
