I'm the proud mommy of the 4 most precious angels in the world! My girls live with me, and my son lives with his dad. I miss him terribly, but I'm fortunate enough to be close friends with my ex. I see and talk to my son as much as I want, whenever I want. It was a hard decision to make, but it was best for all the kids. , I'm a homeschooling SAHM, Writer, Artist, and part-time Model. I own a green decorating company, Recycled Interiors, and co-own Punk Posies, an eco-friendly craft business, with my kids. We're a unique family of artists, yogis, bookworms and activists. We're proud of our differences...the chosen ones and the ones God bestowed on us! All 4 of my children are disabled, as well as I. My 3 girls have ADHD, and my son is LD. My oldest also has OCD, asthma, and allergies. My youngest daughter has Cornelia de Lange Syndrome, a rare genetic condition, Hypotonia, and possible Autism. I have OCD, Major Depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and newly diagnosed PreDiabetes. We face many challenges, but we know that God will get us through them all! , The best way to describe me is hippie meets soccer mom. I'm an activist and volunteer, and I'm very serious about it! I'm also a mom, and it's what drives me to care so much about my causes. I want a world full of joy for my children, and I don't want it to be hard for them to have it...so, I fight! I fight daily, and I fight hard, to make this world better...FOR THE CHILDREN! I'm very open-minded and understanding, and I teach and live by the causes that I fight for. I encourage betterment in my children. I believe in tolerance, equality, peace, and GOD. I teach my children not to judge a person by their race, religion, or wealth (or lack thereof), but instead, by behaviors. Those with bad behaviors need careful guidance, and those with good behaviors make wonderful friends! ;) I'm a parent, after all...I want my kids to hang out with the good kids! lol I'm also an ambassador for environmental/animal rights and an advocate for breastfeeding and children with special needs. I spend those precious few hours that I'm alone (LOL) honing my skills as a writer/artist, doing yoga, playing tennis, hiking, and my latest craze, hooping. I'm a very eclectic individual and very proud of it. It's given me the ability to raise well-mannered, grounded, open-minded, and moral children.
