Hi, I'm the mother of a vibrant and inquisitive 4-year-old and Navy wife. My family and I recently returned from a three-year assignment in Yokosuka, Japan, which was fascinating. I work full-time in the public affairs department at a private university and as a freelance journalist. Yes, I'm busy, but it works for me. I started blogging kind of by accident.
