I have one child--a daughter who is 2. To my surprise, being a parent has been easier than I anticipated! Maybe it's because I set the expectation-bar low. Or maybe it's because having spent 13, under-appreciated and over-worked years in the professional workforce, I just can't get that upset about the minimal downsides of parenting--a job whose tangible, everyday rewards just can't be beat by any corporate benefit package, the cushiest of jobs, or even the world's best boss.
I left my job at a non-profit and opened a small business in December 2006. I design websites and printed marketing materials for small businesses--especially those run by busy, motivated moms, finding a workplace niche on their own terms.
In my free time, I love to play outdoors with my daughter, and I'm always on the lookout for interesting, fun, affordable activities around Boston. Fix-a-Flat actually works this well. I don't kow about adding it as a preventitive, but when you do get a leaky flat, it works very, very well. I used it in June when I got a flat in Connecticut. I figured I'd get a new tire when I got back to Mass the next day, but the tire has been just fine since then. Great stuff!
