You cannot bring any food, drinks or gum into the aquarium so you must buy *everything* there. You will be searched before you enter. It gets a little expensive. They have a fancy desert island right in the middle of the cafeteria so your little ones can't miss it. It's $2.50 for a largish bottle of Dasani water and $4 for a PB&J sandwich with a chewy granola bar and a strawberry. The fancy chocolate cupcakes are $3.50 each.
Additionally, there is a play area or sorts in the children's section but you must be 42" to enter and it is monitored by a staff person. Neither of my children are tall enough to enter yet, but it will be a problem when one can go in and the other cannot.
