I have ceiling fans because I would never leave the house if I had air conditioning. Well, I open the windows in the evening when it is much cooler and I have my fans set on reverse. So, the fans pull the air from the outside into the house.

I put the rinsed out damp sponge in the microwaave for a minute and a half. Then I let it sit there for one more minute. My sponge gets a heat treatment and my microwave gets a steam bath that I wipe with a clean paper towel.
