Greetings! Ok, so I don't really know it all, but I there's a lot I can help you with. I'm the parent of a son, 14 and twin daughters, 11, so I have several years of parenting experience, especially raising twins. I'm a writer, former teacher, currently full-time at-home mom, school and community volunteer. I have a gourmet cookie business I do from home and am working on a cookbook, several children's books and a humourous book on parenting. My kids will tell you that I know everything, because I tell them so. And they come to me with endless questions about EVERYTHING! On the other hand, I have overheard my daughter saying, go ask Dad - he thinks he knows everything... (But, mothers do know everything, and my kids will always tell me the truth -eventually - because they know I will eventually find out) People call me all the time for advice on cooking, how to do something, how to find information, etc. I'm always giving advice and opinions, but I do wait til I am asked (most of the time...) My motto: if you don't want to be told what to do, then do the right thing in the first place. Ask my kids how many times they've heard this. And my M.O. is to always look for the easier, faster, less expensive, more effective way of doing things. I laugh in the face of tradition! (which irritates my own mother) But if something can be done better, do it!
