Comments In How to quickly cool oatmeal for impatient lit... I use instant oatmeal and use warm water to mix and skip the microwave and serve as is. No need to cool it!
In Kids Classes: Kids U Needham Sounds like a great place but I know I can't afford it. Thanks for adding the price, you saved me time and I don't need to check out the website.
In Braving the BPS Lottery Hi, the walk zone is set up for BPS is within a 1 mile for elementary, within 1.5 miles for middle school, and within 2 miles for high school.
In Autismville: A Must Read Blog on Autism To Judy and Jack...I have a 3 yr old son who has Autism also. Toys can be difficult but here is what he likes superballs (from gimball machines), ping pong balls, golf balls, etc. and marbles. We make ramps for them or use paper towel and toilet paper rolls to send them through. The ramps I/we make use cardboard, those disposable cutting boards at dollar stores, shoe boxes, whatever is around and available. We also make ramps using wooden blocks for the balls to roll through. Another thing he enjoys is dominoes, Leapfrog has good ones (more for learning and making shapes) and regular dominoes will work, from stacking them high like blocks to lining them up and knocking them over brings alot of JOY to our son. Just some ideas to try. Good Luck and be paient as they are all unique little people! I admit I haven't read all your blogging yet, but I will and have enjoyed it already.
