In Boston Harbor Islands I would suggest you take your own picnic. Grab some great eats from Quincy Market. The food on George's Island is not great and they run out of food so the choices are meager.
In Get Rid of Ants Instant grits are sold in the northeast in the cereal aisle along with oatmeal etc. I will definitely have to try this trick.
