Comments In My favorite place to take my son in Boston There are two hills in the Arboretum. Peters hill has a road and is clean. The other hill is at the southern end. It's more "wild" with mostly pines. The top is rocky and STREWN WITH EMPTY BEER BOTTLES. Make sure you get the right hill.
In Kidsfunstop.com: Indoor playground for kids a... I'm reluctant to recommend this place because I don't want to see it get too crowded, but yes, it's great. Big, clean, and full of a good variety of toys and activities. The staff are great; polite and helpful. We had our daughter's fourth birthday there and it was a great place for a dozen kids to just go crazy.
In Playspace at Atrium Mall at Chestnut Hill The old space, while primitive, was excellent. Large enough that kids could run around, and structures that were good for kids up to 6. There was lots of seating and a clear view of the door, in case the kids tried to escape.
The only thing the new space has going for it is the bathrooms. The playspace is small and crowded, the layout doesn't allow you to be lazy (if you're sitting in the back and your kids go toward the front, you have to get up to see if they're going to escape). The structures are slippery, uninteresting, and no fun for any kid over 2.
A huge disappointment. The entire mall has lost a lot of business.
