I used this in our "new" 60 year old home that the water backed up in the upstairs (only) bathroom bolth the sink and the tub would fill quickly. The previous owners used draino..left it by the tub and obviously it did not work. I used this 2 times (I didnt cover the 1st time) it bubbleb up all kinds of nasty stuff Im geussing years of gooke! And after 3 months of showering with the tub filling it now drains quickly and the sink as well!! I will definatly be useing this methode to avoid ever haveing this problem again!
