Ever a traveler on the crooked path, I became Michael's grandmother after my erst-husband divorced me, I moved into a place of my own, and my daughter Tatiana came to that new place to tell me she was pregnant and couldn't stand living with the baby's father and his mom. , Could she stay with me? Of course! And so I saw my lovely Michael being born all slippery and fuschia, and have been with him every day since. Here's the coda: both my kids are adopted fro Russia at ages 10 and 11, so this is my first chance to watch a baby grow! To quote a favorite songwriter: I'm not a passenger, I am the RIDE!
