My name is Kate and I a mother to a very fun and spunky two and half year old son. His name is Jake and he is pretty much my side kick. My other job is as an attorney for a county in Kansas and to be a wife to my husband. My husband and I grew up in Illinois and moved to Kansas in late 2006. While we have had to adjust to being away from our friends and family we have found Kansas to be a wonderful place to raise a young child and love the Kansas City area for many reasons, including but not limited to: the famers markets, the shopping, BBQ, the people, did I mention shopping?, Deanna Rose, the Plaza, Prairie Village and so many more reasons.
