Hello! My name is Kristen and I have a thirteen month old named Aidan. In my old life (before Aidan!), I was a special education teacher for children 3, 4, and 5 years old. I also have a ten year old stepson with Down syndrome who is learning more each day! I have just begun putting together a website for parents and families of children with special needs. There is a follow up book to this one, called the Out of Sync Child has Fun. It has wonderful activities that work on sensory integration difficulties.

Signing Time are wonderful videos that teach a variety of words related to different subjects/categories- like farm, at home, etc. They were developed my a mother whose child uses sign language.
