Comments In Single Parent Christmas I always make sure to buy the same amount of presents for me that i do for him. it takes away the feeling of misery on christmas and if you go shopping early enough the presents are a surprise to you as well. it really put the joy back in christmas and gave us something to smile about. my son still wonders about the cats going shopping so we made up all sorts of stories. he was so happy when his favorite cat gave him a gift. i made some of the ones i bought from me and some from the cats.
