Hi, I am a stay at home mom to 7 kids 8 and under and a wife to an airline pilot. I have a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Human Ecology, with a focus on child and family studies, and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from the Ohio State University. Good suggestion; we have tried it, but when my kids see addition of any foods they like (peanut butter or especially kool-aid) they tend to want to eat it or lick it! I try to make it as a family craft, but maybe I will try that if I ever make play dough when they aren't around

Cynthia, Yes, I do agree that Shel Silverstein is a great author that I have loved since I was a kid. We listen to a book on cd in the car of Shel Silverstein. Awhile back, Wendy's had a book on cd of The Magic Tree House that I saw as we drove by, I pulled up through the drive through and asked if we could just by the cd, which they ended up selling it for about a quarter. The kids love to listen to books on cd's in the car.
