I am in the Human Resources field and I have recently become unemployed. While Indeed.com may be a handy tool for some -- the information on this site is usually dated -- many jobs that are posted are old and sometimes already filled.
Oftentimes, our HR department would receive inquiries for openings that were closed 2 months prior -- and when asked where they saw it they'd reply, "But it was just posted on Indeed.com today!" I had to convince them that the position was filled.
In my own job hunting experience, I have found that the local job boards are the best for up-to-date job postings. (the Phoenix area has Jobing.com) The County, State and Federal job search sites are always up-to-date, as well.
