Learn something new today!  This is a pretty cool website for all you info-hounds to browse through by the Library of Congress.  This section is specifically for kids & families which is useful, especially now that school is starting up again - this one might be a good one to bookmark. 

I especially like the "Today in History" section - where it tells you something notable that happened on this day in the past. 

You can also browse by collection, browse by time period, by geographic area, and by "things containing".  Lots of old photograph collections from the old Daily newspapers and such.
