My Family has found the HBO Classical Baby Videos educational for both parents and children.  The art and music are beautiful.  There are 3 separate videos available for purchase however they come in a 3 pack as well.  The videos are Classical Dance, Art and Music.  In the art video the animations used are real pieces of art work from Jackson Pollack, to Van Gogh to Degas.  In the Dance video choreographed pieces of animation form the works of George Balanchine, Martha Graham, and many others.  In the music video there is music from Tchaikovsky, Bach, Mozart and Copland plus others.While I am not one to push videos or TV for infants let alone toddlers, we have found these videos to have a calming affect on our active son at bedtime and will occasionally use them as part of his bedtime routine.  The music is soothing and seeing real pieces of art work I think will give our son a greater appreciation for art when we visit real art museums.  We have also just listened to the DVD’s as CD’s.
