For years, even pre-kids, I've taken shortcuts to delicious meals that tast gourmet and take only a few minutes. Stonewall Kitchen makes amazing marinades, mustards, dressings, jams, etc. You can get them at many supermarkets (Whole Foods, Roche Bros, etc.) or online. Toss any kind of meat in a tupperware with one of the marinades a few hours before or the night before. Then just toss it in the oven, cook some rice and steam some veggies and you have a delicious, healthy meal. The maple-chipotle and teriyaki marinades are especially good. There is another one with wasabi in the name that we use on fish which we then broil in foil. So easy!
