Discovery Museums is divided into two buildings. The Children's Museum is in an old Victorian house. It features hands-on exhibits that explore color, sound, motion, creativity, and imagination. The rooms, crawl-through spaces, and dress-up costumes are designed for infants, toddlers, and children 5 and under. Each space offers a corner for reading books on the subject. The Science Center is three floors of interactive learning and exploration, from water vortexes, radio waves, electricity, motion, music and sound, to pattern-making, recycled-materials crafts, and a woodshop. My five-year-old daughter was so thrilled with the museum that she wants to return soon.
