With all the toy recalls due to lead paint, we've been unsure of a bunch of our toys.  So we bought some lead paint testing kits to test the toys ourselves.  Here are some lead paint testing kits to try:

• Pro-Lab Lead Surface Test Kit: This one was featured in a Wall Street Journal article called "Testing Toys for Lead" and appealed to us since it is easy to use and is odorless.
• LeadCheck Swabs: Also featured in the WSJ article from Hybrivet Systems.  Very simple to use.
