This is so simple, you'll be saying why didn't I think of that? Choose a spring or summer day when the 5-day forecast does not call for rain. Have each family member lie down on the driveway, farthest away from where the cars park, and trace each person with chalk. Be sure to trace the pets, too! Then, choose whether everyone colors in their own clothing and features, or whether you each pick someone else to do. Be sure to include accurate jewelry and hair styles. Perhaps a briefcase or purse, or a hockey stick or comic book. If you're lucky, these will stay looking fresh for several weeks, and the kids get a huge kick out of seeing the entire family in front of the house.
