Be prepared to document your wedding events by thinking "all things scrapbooking." Your wedding is probably the most special time of your life, and you want to be able to remember all the little details for years to come. In fact, the events surrounding your wedding day can prove equally as memorable, too. For instance, the medley of festivities includes: the engagement, the bridal shower, the bachelorette party, the rehearsal dinner, the morning of the "big" day, and the honeymoon.

To design a truly unique wedding scrapbook, save all the little things that will help you create a rich and dynamic album. After each wedding event, set aside items such as cards, ribbons, flower petals, favors (or tags), and invitations. All of these trimmings are wonderful for spicing up and embellishing your scrapbook. By adding such distinctive touches to your pages, you will lend authenticity and depth to your scrapbook.

For my wedding scrapbook, I included special notes and emails from friends and family members that otherwise would have been lost in the shuffle. (Cut the notes into fancy shapes using scrapbooking scissors, and then paste the notes onto colorful paper stock.) Consider using GlueDots brand mini adhesive stickers to attach the embellishments to the pages. The dots are non-toxic and will not harm your photos, ribbons, etc.

When I flip through my bridal scrapbook, I am able to appreciate and remember all the special things people did for me and the care that went into planning and enjoying my wedding.
