Every summer, Barnes & Noble has a fun summer reading program for kids. It is fun and easy for kids to earn free books! They simply read any eight books — library books, books borrowed from friends or books bought at bookstores — write about their favorite part, and bring a completed Summer Reading Journal to a Barnes & Noble bookstore. Children can then choose from a list of paperback books. The program runs from the end of May to the beginning of Sept. each year and is available to school aged children in grade one to six. The Summer Reading Program forms are available at your local Barnes & Noble store, or simply print out the documents here.
