I play this  version of "I Spy" with my preschooler while driving in the car on both long and short trips. She is familiar with her letters and enjoys pointing them out while we are driving. So we start from the letter A and try to get all the way to Z before our next destination. I slow the game down a bit for longer trips. She loves that she can "WIN" me and find the letters first....As your child gets older you can modify it to include words or objects that begin with a certain letter. This is both a fun and educational activity that really does pass the time!
