In light of all the talk about lead in toys, I think books are still a wonderful alternative to any "toy". Have you walked into the book section of any bookstore lately? The choices in books is amazing....fluffly books, read-a-long books, projection books, books on CD, interactive books, scratch-n-sniff books.....and if you just can't decide - gift cards to your local bookstore work too!
