Every Saturday, Lakeshore Learning has free craft activities for kids (3+) from 11-3. The kids get to use some of Lakeshore's amazing craft supplies and make fun projects. Beware: you will be tempted to buy their amazing products as you wait for the kids to finish their crafts! My kids have had a blast with their Saturday crafts. I like their little kids journals for my 7 year old to write and illustrate her own stories - and they are only $1.50! Beats trying to make my own on the copier. There is only one location in Massachusetts - at 230 Needham St in Newton.
