There's a free national directory of playspaces (playgrounds, skateparks, sports fields, etc.) at KaBOOM! KaBOOM! (not the cleaner, thank you) is a nonprofit organization that helps communities build playspaces. You can search by name (or even better) by location. If you do that and don't see your local playground, add it! Anyone can add a new or existing playspace. You can even add photos and comments to playgrounds that are already there.

There are two purposes for this directory: One is to help kids find really great places to play. The other purpose is to show where there really aren't enough safe and fun places for kids to play so that communities can focus efforts on fixing that.
