I was looking for a summer program for my daughter that focused on art, and someone referred me to the Arlington Center for the Arts.  They offer a summer program for kids aged 4 to 14, which looks great, but I also noticed that they offer a large selection of classes for adults and kids in the visual, literary, and performing arts.    Take a look if you’re interested in finding some creative classes for your kids.
