I almost always have leftover tortillas on hand. And I try not to keep bags of potato chips in the house.  So when salsa or hummus is calling to me from the fridge, I just make my own tortilla chips.

I cut each tortilla into 8 wedges, and arrange wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet. I lightly spray wedges with cooking spray and then sprinkle on paprika. Then, I just pop them in the oven at 350° for 15 minutes or until lightly browned and crisp. Voila. Baked tortilla chips with less fat and salt.

I love this idea. To save even more fat and add nutrition try to spread the wedges with extra virgin olive oil instead of cooking spray. Yummy!
