If you're a "non geek" computer person like me, who just turns on the computer, surfs the web, makes some purchases, and then encounters "network problems" -HOLD the Prozac, Xantac, vodka, Pepto Bismol or whatever you're reaching for! No need to pull the hair out and scream like a mad person. With some patience, I'm slowly becoming a wireless network expert by reading idiot-proof material on this fast-evolving world of wi-fi and wiis, etc. I just received my first laptop computer to lessen the fights over who was going to use the family desktop. A complete novice, I set up the router myself. Everything was working fine for a week until-ZAP-all Internet connection was lost. SO now I quickly have learned that routers are a constant nightmare. So now I'm on my way to Circuit City to return one router and on to Best Buy to buy another. In the meantime, like I said, I'm reading a lot of information. Here is one link I just uncovered that may help many of you busy parents. It's lengthy but I printed it and filed as a reference. As a busy person, waiting for my "techie" friends to come by is not always the best use of time when I depend on Internet to pay bills, etc. Good luck!
