Need to get out of the house on a rainy day (or it's too humid to breathe)?  Try The Emerald Square Mall.  It is not your ordinary mall.  I spent 2 hours there today and didn't spend a dime!  The Mall has a fun playspace for the kiddos on the lower level - it is always clean and has things to climb on, a small tunnel, a small slide, and there is sure to be a new friend to be made.  If you tire of that area go to the upper level (this is where you need to have a little bit of $$) and ride the Carousel.  Across the way (Next to Mrs. Field's) are about six ride-on vehicles (the ones that cost $.50 to activate).  Though I am not a member I know that they have a kid's club you can join for $5.00 a year http://www.simon.com/kidgits/.  And if you need to shop they not only have all the typical kids clothing stores but they also have a Starbucks.
