Parent Talk and Warmlines have compiled a list of books that could help ease the transition to kindergarten.  They all deal with starting or attending school.  Some of them may reassure anxious children and give parents ideas for how to help their child adjust to this new setting (like in The Kissing Hand) and make new friends.
