How To Find A Swim Instructor
Ages:
General Interest
By:Joseph

You want your child to take swimming lessons, but you don’t feel like spending the afternoon at the town pool when you have a pool right in your own backyard. How about hiring someone to bring the lessons to you?
Many people are now having instructors come to their home to teach their child lessons. It is not only convenient, however, many children feel more comfortable in their own pool.
The swim instructor you hire should be a lifeguard. To hire an instructor, start with references from friends or check local advertisements. Try to get in touch with them at the beginning of the summer. Many instructors can book for any time, but their schedules do get filled fast.
If you don’t have a pool that’s ok! Have lessons at a friend’s pool. Group lessons usually are cheaper too. Be sure to ask the instructor how many kids they feel they can safely teach. Expect to pay a flat fee of $20 to $30 for a half-hour session.
