My 6 year old LOVES to cook.  The trick was to find something that he could do "all by himself" and serve to the family.  George Foreman grill to the rescue! 

Jake makes us all "fancy" grilled cheese sandwiches on the grill.  It's easy for him to assemble, (one slice of bread in the grill, pile stuff on top, another slice on that, and close the grill).

He gets REALLY creative with the insides...lol.
