FamilyConnect is a new website that was created specifically for families of children with visual impairments.  It is an incredible site that can be customized so that you receive email updates on topics that apply specifically to your family needs.  There is a wealth of information here.  The site includes message boards for specific diagnoses, ages, and topics. There is a tool to connect you to other families, family videos, articles by other parents, announcements about activities across the nation, links, links, links and much, much more.  This is a must-see site-it has been especially helpful to us as significant childhood visual impairment is pretty rare and it is hard to find others who are living with it.
