Here are some websites with a ton of activities, printables and information about the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing:

• Activity Village's Summer Olympics section has fact sheets about the history of the Olympics, Olympic crafts, coloring pages, printables, puzzles and word searches, and ideas for holding your own Olympic games. There is also a great section for kids about China, an explanation of what the Beijing mascots represent and coloring pages of the mascots.

• Olympic Express is an online kids magazine with articles and info about the upcoming games and athletes.

• Kaboose's Summer Olympic section has sports printables and Olympic crafts, including a cute torch that my daughter made at camp.

• The official Beijing Olympics website has news and the event schedule, as well as wallpapers and screensavers of the mascots.
