This article has some neat ideas (haha, get it?) for organizing different rooms in the house using a pocket shoe organizer. You can find inexpensive ones or more decorative ones, depending on the use. One idea I like is putting one near the front door, and each person gets a row in which to put permission slips, outgoing mail, etc. The ideas might be simple, but I hadn't thought of them. Have you?
