Want to go green, save money, and teach your kids to be environmentally responsible?  Packing a school lunch is the perfect opportunity for you to teach your child about being green.  It's easy!  Come on, get on board and go green!

Tip #1.  Use a reusable lunch box.

Tip #2.  Use reusable freezer packs.

Tip #3.  Use reusable containers.  Avoid expensive zip lock sandwich bags that also litter our landfills after one use.  Even milk/ drinks can be easily poured into reusable containers.  No more smashed sandwiches, fruit or chips.  Protect them with a more study container.

Tip #4.  Avoid items packaged for conveniece.  Buy in bulk!  Not only is buying in bulk less expensive, but it saves our world from unnecessary waste in landfills caused by too much food packaging.

Teaching your kids to pack green will make them a part of the green movement and is a lesson to last a lifetime.  Go green!
