These are some excellent ways to cut your energy costs. The part I liked best was the Appliance Cost Calculator. It's amazing how much energy we can save by turning off the lights and so on. One thing they didn't mention was the hot water heater. I turn off the circuit breaker for it every morning after my shower, and don't turn it on until 10 - 15 minutes before I want hot water. Depending on where you live will determine how long your water stays hot. Here in Florida it stays hot all day so unless I'm washing clothes, I don't have to turn it on until the next morning. A nice savings.
