This website says it all in the first sentence. When you bake with your children, you're creating more than delicious food, you're creating memories, and that is so true. Some of my fondest memories as a child are the times I spent in the kitchen learning how to bake cookies, make cakes from scratch, and how to make the perfect crust for a pie. Today the smell of baking cookies takes me back to those fun times and I can remember how great those cookies tasted when we ate them hot from the oven.
