I wasn't sure which category to put this in but if you want to earn extra money from time to time, sign up for free with FieldWorks.  They do a lot of focus groups in Boston & Waltham but they services different areas in Mass.  Just fill out the form for free and based on what you fill out and what kind of audience they are looking for, they will only call you if they think you would be a good fit.  I have done some and earned $100.00 for 2 hours of my time to express my opinion.  This place is legit and the pay is in cash too.  Focus groups vary from morning, afternoon or night so it's not a reliable income but something you can use towards your budget if you qualify for a lot of the focus groups.
