Quick craft idea for summer:
Gather all the rocks and stones you have been collecting at the seashore, wash them off, and paint them with your kids. Then scatter them throughout your garden. Use acrylic paints from your craft store, and the colors show up great. The paint doesn’t wash off, either; ours have lasted through many rainstorms. I like to write words on mine, and my daughter paints shapes and flowers. We lay them out in her own garden plot, and they brighten it up while we wait for her flowers to bloom.
