Most local libraries offer story time once a week for infants- toddlers. Some offer story and crafts for toddlers- preschoolers. More programing for tweens-teens including movies and story discussions.
As a mother of four, I have found you can use this program in many ways..Fun time for the little ones and older ones as well. Have a child in trouble assign a book and have them write you an essay on the book...or library is always in need of volunteers. Drop them off once a week for a few hours to volunteer. Your library will appreciate the help and you may appreciate some free time.
