Apple Brickle Dip

8 oz cream cheese softened to room temperature
1/2 c brown sugar
1/4 c white sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c brickle chips or butter toffee walnuts

Beat first 4 ingredients together.  Add brickle.  If using walnuts add them closer to serving time so they don't soften.  Sprinkle 3 cut apples with lemon juice or soak them in 7up to keep them from darkening.

Hint: Walmart has always had the Heath Bits of Brickle toffee bits.  This is a brown 8 oz bag.  Some other grocery stores have quit carrying this.

Hey...a recipe AND a new tip. I had no idea that 7-up would keep apples from browning! Thanks! Wendy http://www.kidlutions.com
