I need to bring a dish to a potluck this week, and I remembered this no-recipe keilbasa recipe. Kielbasa is a kind of sausage, but I only buy the turkey kind. Try Hillshire Farms brand, whether you want turkey, beef or beef and pork kielbasa. Or, the Jennie-O brand if you want turkey.

Take 3 lbs. of kielbasa and cut into chunks or coins. They can be bite size or they can be two or three bites each.  Put the pieces in a baking dish. Dump 2 lbs. of dark brown sugar on top of the keilbasa, stir if you feel like it. Bake about 350 or 375 for about 30 or 40 or 45 minutes, just until the sugar melts and turns into a glaze and the meat is cooked through. Wait until you taste it!

I might bring some mild buttermild biscuits with it, so there is something to sop up the sauce.

I think I'll have to try this, soon! I'll bet it tastes great! I grew up eating kielbasa (the Polish heritage thing!), but have never tried it this way! Wendy http://www.kidlutions.com
