Diwali is the most popular festival in India, and is also known as the festival of lights.  Celebrated according to the Lunar calender, Diwali falls on October 28th this year.   

We celebrated Diwali in my daughter's preschool yesterday, and I was looking on the internet for crafts on this theme.I found tons of activities on the already very popular Crayola site, that were lots of fun, as well as pretty simple to do.
