I just discovered a new "Limited Edition" flavor of Edy's Slow Churned Ice Cream - Pumpkin!  And - it's really really good!  It sort of tastes like a pumpkin flavored egg nog and pumpkin pie.  Not too sicky sweet - and a really good perfectly spiced pumpkin flavor. 

Thought I would give it a thumbs up to people who may see it and wonder whether it is worth a try.  It is indeed. 

Edy's often has limited edition flavors and I usually try them.  The last one I tried was called "Root Beer Float" which was pretty good, but not as good as the pumpkin flavor.

Hopefully they will consider bringing this flavor back each fall.  Happy Halloween!'

ADDENDUM:
Also just discovered some new Limited Edition flavors to try out.   Girl Scout Cookie Samoas and Thin Mints.  Samoas is good if you are a fan of the cookie.  I'd like it better if there were more actual chunks of the cookie in there.  Thin Mint is true to the cookie flavor and pretty tasty overall.
