On November 11th, Tampa's Lowry Zoo is honoring veteran's to a free day at the zoo.  From 9:30 to 5:00, a veteran and 3 of their family member's can visit the zoo, completely free!  It doesn't matter if you are active, retired, or reserved, as long as you bring your military identification.  If your service member is not able to make it, the dependents can still take advantage of this event as long as the children have an adult to supervise.  The Zoo does this every year on Veteran's Day, so be sure to check each year as to what the timing will be.  So, Thank you, Lowry Zoo for honoring our vets, and an extra special thank you to the Veterans that dedicate their lives to keeping our lives safe!
